Initial Work Group Proposes a Process for Transforming the Educational System

 

Representatives of the initial work group have worked to sketch a process to transform the educational system. Meetings were held from October to December and to develop an initial  proposal:

 

• The group identified as their purpose to design a process to transform the educational system beginning in 2010. This involved establishing the structure, composition and work plan.

• In mid-december, the group will present their proposal to the Governor and to the Secretary of Education in order to push work on transforming the educational system to begin in January 2010.

The representatives had the opportunity to discuss the proposal with their constituents in order to receive feedback on the work done.

The group developed a multisectorial proposal, which will allow to include the ideas of a diverse group among the changes that will be proposed.
