Sapientis Week 2009 Leaves its Mark

 

Six distinguished personalities served as voluntary public school teachers by participating in Sapientis Week, an initiative that seeks to focus attention on public schools. This is the fourth consecutive year that Sapientis celebrated this initiative, which impacts students in different public schools throughout Puerto Rico. The following pictures provide a visual summary of Sapientis Week.

Los Favoritos First Lady, Lucé Vela visited the Villa Granada School along with student Miguel Toro and offered a class in leadership.
  1. Public relations professional Ada Torres Toro offered a class in effective communication and body language to ninth grade students at Juan José Osuna School, which specializes in communications.

       
Actress Cordelia González visited the Albert Einstein High School and gave an actor projection skills class. Kimberly Casiano
  1. Joaquin Bacardi, III, President and CEO of Bacardi Corporation, offered a class about the environment at the Francisco Oller School.

  1. Actress Marian Pabón offered a class on the professional development of an actor to students at the Pablo Casals Specialized School for the Arts.  

  1. The Executive Director of the Banco Popular Foundation, Beatriz Polhamus, visited the
